Meet my Norwegian Forest Cat, Sweet Pea, she is an ancestor to the enormous Maine Coon cat breed. This 8-year-old kitty was rescued from shelter in 2002 and I'm glad I did. A jail inmate helped me pick her out. He told me how sweet she was and he was right. She is a gorgeous, playful, loving, sweet and well-behaved kitty. She's one of a kind. My cat is named after Nelee on Survivor IV: Marqueses. Her nickname was Sweet Pea, too.

Aww how cute. She reminds my my m/c Oscar. Ue was sweet. He recently passed away at 22 years of age. Sweet cat. hope lots of long years together.

I have a female kind of N.F.o but she is mixed, though she inherited all the traits of the race. She is 10 now and still adorable. Your Sweet Pea is a complete delight.

@kalchgrubernorma thank you for saying that. I totally agree. I loved that cat from the moment I laid eyes on her. She was laying in the cage at the animal shelter all nonchalant. she didn't have a care in the world. i'm sure her original owners didn't want to give her up, but it must have been some extenuating circumstances. I'm glad I found her. some jail workers (i know right) introduced me to her. i never imagined i would take advice from a jail worker, but they were dead on. she's a sweetie
