hm? Well, it's not very "scottish" as scottish is not a word in the english dictionary. It may have scottish origin, but it is written like that. So, the flute player, my cousin Elena, isn't "loosing" notes. It is very hard to hold a note on the flute. [I play myself, especially hard to play slurs for 4 measures]
