Canon HG20 - Depth of Field (DOF)

I made a Depth of Field test with my Canon HG20. This is my final test, because the Canon S10/S100 will come out and it will completely mask my camcorder :(. I didn't use any 35mm adapters, this is the camera lens with Aperture Value mode selected and some extreme joystick manual focusing. Hope you enjoy this vid. Tudor.

wow i have an hg20 and my videos come out crap but wow yours are amazing what did you do to get this effect how did you upload what software do you use tell me everything please i feel like i wasted money

@Matucks : well.. depth of field depends on 3 things: focal length, subject distance and aperture opening. Set your camera in AV and at minimum aperture and try it. Shoot at maximum quality and edit with new software at decent settings.

@jsoqui : i shot it in AV mode at f.18~f2.8 (depending on zoom). I didn't use any adaptors.. just the camera as out of the box.
