You know, people say the same garbage about anything new. Longboarders said the same things about shortboards, skiers said the same things about snowboards, trail runners said the same thing about mountain bikes, etc, etc, etc.
SUP is here to stay. There's gonna be a learning curve for all parties. Deal.
FYI, I still prone surf too. More options = more fun.

I live in MA and I would like to start an Anti-Paddle boarding protest!!! Everyone that rides those things is unbelievably beyond a douche bag! I can't say how much I want every paddle boarder to drown due to how aggravating/dangerous they are when I am trying to surf like a real man! It seems that nearly everyone that rides those things are completely out of control and get in everyone's way. I guess the next step is to get outboard motors and strap them to boards??? Douche bags!
