Strange Portal Error

This error came up spontaneously. Have run Portal successfully numerous times without any issue, then suddenly there's huge ERROR text everywhere. GLaDOS is silent, as well.

Not using GMod, cheats, or pirated version of Portal (I got it for free, though. Did you remember to get it when it was free? Aw, too bad...).

Gmod has no portal gun that works flawlessly.

That makes this video proof that its Portal.

people only say its Gmod because Gmod has more errors when it comes to noobs who download content while half the required games are missing

I had this in Portal 2 when I first downloaded it through Steam, thought the entire walls were covered in those "error" signs and the walls behind were bright pink. It's NOT an edit for people claiming it is. O_o

@RabidRaccoonUK I saw a pink checkered pattern in Left4Dead 2 yesterday for the skybox. Now it's fine. Eh, happens.

@JDVK It's not a matter of not wanting people to know something. It says directly in the description that I'm not using Gmod. I get something like 10 comments a day saying exactly the same thing. Maybe I was feeling generous for the new year, so approved this one for abuse.
