Demonstration of sounds produced by Simmons SDS-9 Drum Synthesizer for eBay auction. Dry Mono sound from the Simmons, no FX. This is a MIDI loop from a PC sequencer and a simple soft synth bass sound provides a context for the Simmons sounds. There is a lot of variety to be had in the snare drum using the filter, resonance and pitch and filter enveloping. This is with the stock Simmons snare sample, nothing fancy. It is possible to burn your own eproms for the Snare and Rime/Sidestick sounds. The bass and toms are static in this video although there are lots of posibilities there too, especially with the toms.

  • Don´t sell it... you will regret. I have a simmons kit and it´s very fun using it with other hardware synths...

  • @SonyCrocket
