「faraDUB」しょうがない夢追い人

This is not only a dub made for the fact that I haven't made one since before I left, but it's also an audition! I'm auditioning for Kirei Musume's miracle member! Thank you, Kirei Musume, for considering me and giving me this opportunity!

I have wanted to dub Shouganai for a very long time. It's a gorgeous, sad song that I almost cried to the first time I listened to it. While my favorite members got no solo lines, I felt a strong connection to this song, and while it's nothing like MoMusu's previous singles I feel it's one of my favorites. The idea of the singer wanting to be with this man, but knowing he'd rather run off and "chase his dreams" than be with her is something I relate to personally, and one of the last lines, "I wonder if your dream will ever come true, but I don't know if I can continue being blessed together" (not sure if that's the right translation, but...) strikes a particular chord. When hearing that line, despair echoes in me... Really, this song invokes a lot of feelings, and I hope I brought that across in my singing.

As for technicalities, I wish some of the "ooh"s were a little quieter, but the way it saved in Audacity ended up being different than what it sounded like before it saved. All in all, though, I'm very pleased in the turn-out! As for the video... I recently switched over from a Windows computer to a Mac and I am trying to get used to this new video-editing program. It's exciting, though, and I like the way the video ended up turning out! Plus, HD! =D
