Ol' Rattlesnake must have been drinking some rattlesnake juice before this was shot... I wish he'd did just a little research first. The Remington over and under derringer was made in .41 rimfire. Colt made a HUGE amount of SA pistols in many different calibers... but their DAs did NOT look like that!

This is complete bull shit. New High standard and a Remington knock off by Davis industries. This guy knows about as much about guns a I do about Atomic reactors. He is a joke. Originals were chambered in 41 rimfire not 38 special which is more modern. I hope he is joking. He was good for a laugh.

This guy is lost ! I have done research for people concerning 19th century post civil war weapons. I maybe wrong BUT the 1st gun he showed was a High Standard dbl 9 Its an OK gun if you like alum frame. No 45 derringers except Cap n Ball.
He is so full of crap as a Christmas Turkey ! you have been had Terry
He was showing new clones. They do have 45 colt derringers now .The old Remington was cartridge flip open they were 41 rimfire

This guy is so full of it the vid is brown. The most common deringer was the remington in 41 rimfire, the 22 revolver is a newer revolver & the common rounds back then were the 45, 44-40, 38-40, 25-20 etc. That deringer is not a S&W, they don't make em.

I'm a frequent visitor to Tombstone with my group the Territorial Troupers. Your expert in this video ain't no expert on the old west.
Gunfighters who wanted to live awhile used a cartridge that would knock a man down, not a .22. Most men carried a single action pistol in .44 or .45 caliber.
I have a post Civil War Remington Derringer, and it was chambered in .41 short rimfire which they stopped making back in 1935. Search "Remington Derringer" and watch me shoot it.
This guy doesn't have a clue, 99% of what he said was just plain wrong. He said the first gun was authentic, it's a High Standard 22 caliber double action, not single action, and probably dates from the 1950's or 1960's, and gunfighters didn't use 22 rimfire pistols!
He said the derringer was made by Smith & Wesson, they never made derringers.
About the only accurate statement I heard was that the derringer wasn't accurate, he actually did get that one right.
