Hey, funkygunky1, think about this... those bats eat thousands of pounds of bugs every year! They are a friend to people & are sadly misunderstood. I like bats. XD

I've been there several times and have loved it each time. I have taken the tour away from the main entrance, led by Park Rangers where there are no lights; you take flashlights. The tour is limited to a small group and you really get some fabulous experiences, such as a total darkness experience.

i live about 45 minutes from it, if you ever can, go on a private guided tour, through the off path stuff....you wont regret it. i promise.

Cool! I own a copy of this program from Finley-Holiday films! Quite an educational and entertaining DVD! These guys know how to film a great travel video!
