Homicide: the Movie. The last Bayliss/Pembleton scene...ever. On the roof, Tim confesses to Frank.

  • They never revealed whether Munch killed the guy that shot Howard, Felton, and Bolander. They hinted at it from time to time when it would come up but they never really let the audience know for sure if it was him.

  • Heh, yeah, that was the Homicide way, wasn't it? More often than not they didn't reveal the killer or important information to the audience. Part of the reason why I loved the show.

Do you think Munch killed Pratt? That's always an issue debated between H: LOTS fans I've noticed. Quite interesting too...I wonder if his character ever mentions it on SVU.

  • This is a very gripping scene between two great actors!

  • They are great, aren't they? And I read that they did this scene in one take too. Absolutely wonderful.

  • who played that luke guy? Luke Rylan I think.

  • Benjamin Busch.

  • @condor1087 there wasn't two versions. The youtube version is cut short. You can download or buy a copy of the full film. The wiki page is correct.

  • @condor1087 Only Brodie knew of Gee's death and hadn't told the unit by the time the shooter had been caught.

  • I hope someone can explain this. In earlier comments, at least two people say that Giardello dies. The Wiki page for Gee says that he dies of an aneurism and sees Adena Watson and is playing cards with Felton and Crosetti. Yet in the end of the previous part 3,. Danvers says that the shooter is facing two counts of ATTEMPTED murder for Gee and the Dr he shot. and no where after that can I find the scene showing him with Felton and Crosetti. Were there 2 versions made?

  • Bayliss & Pembleton...................The greatest love story on television!!

  • did i take a bullet for you? DID I TAKE A BULLET FOR YOU? - pure awesome - one of the best scenes ever.....although they do get a little gay at the end - it can't be denied...

  • I can't believe I still remember the dialog from this scene. Once upon a time, television was good!

  • Looking at this, years later, it still stands as the best police drama ever.

Munch killed Pratt. He was able to just live with it.

Just like Meldrick taking down Georgia Rae Mahoney's crew.

Bayliss couldn't live with it, he needed Frank's forgiveness.
