A spectacular arrangement of the 1938 Ray Noble classic standard "Cherokee." Karrin Allyson delivers a stunning and flawless vocal track while Kim Park cooks on the alto.
Its one of my favorite recordings of all time. I hope you enjoy the bubbly animation it rendered 24/7 for a solid 8 days using Bryce 3D and Spore creature creator.

  • Lovely version! What was the hopping mutant turtle-melon all about though? :P

  • @Rg2732 well, it's my idea of a "vocal" the organ in a body that makes the singing, but I do love the hopping mutant turtle-melon analogy. Isn't art interpretation wonderful. Thanks for watching. Tell your friends.

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • I appreciate that. This recording is amazing and it was one of the hardest animations I have ever worked on. I am surprised it still does not have more views.

  • Since Cherokee is in my top 5 favorite songs and Karrin Allyson is my favorite jazz singer I really liked this. There is no bad version of this song.

  • Nice...can you post her reading of "Live For Life" from the movie, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg....Thx.
