Where the explosives are suspected to have been were on floors or areas on the floors that were empty or owned by private compenies.

For all we know they explosives could be radio detonated therefore the wiring of the explosives would have occoured before hand.

There might have been bombs placed... You have two huge buildings that are on fire and there's not a thing they could do to stop it. A controlled demolition would've been way better than the building collapsing on it's own and possibly lean toward surrounding structures.

There is a field that studies the acoustic signatures of different explosives. So all we have to do is get the best audio, from 9/11, that shows what appears to sound like explosions.

Do a google search for: "Acoustic analysis of explosions in high noise environment"

It's very technical, but we may be able to contact the researcher and get some analysis done on the sounds.
