After I dropped the tank, I believe I found why I kept loosing fuel pressure when the car was hot. The feel line is too close to the exhaust, what do you think?

  • yeah im having problems now but I put mine in the engine comparment just to get it back to my house after the mechanical failed on me so im going to put it in the frame rail and put a pressure gauge and my clear filter back on and i might heat wrap my headers on that side to keep tha temp down

  • I'm sure you have it fixed by now. I put my electric fuel pump on the inside of the frame near the tire. I had problems with fuel pressure too. I put in a 400 big block .30 over in a 318 car. Took me a while to figure out that 318-340-(360 cudas in 74) came with a 5/16 fuel line. If you swapped engines could be one reason you're starving out. Also, I had some line lock too. I think the vents on the 35 year old tank were plugged. Good luck. Nice car!

  • Try using Aeroquip braided line with some of that orange heat sleeve.
