I'm italian. During the 2WW our grandparents used to eat cats, because of the poverty. We don't eat cats anymore. He was just trying to talk about a period we don't remember happily. Italy was very poor, and when you are poor and hungry, you are willing to eat cats. That's it.

People eat cats all the time, nothing new here folks. People can argue that a cat is a pet but in other countries, pigs, chickens and goats are kept as pets too and yet people still eat these animals. I dont care if there is a law passed stating that its against the law to eat dogs and cat, if Im starving, that cats head is coming off. Its tradition for this guy to eat cats. Just because a law was passed in 1991, doesnt mean that he never at that cat growing up.

It depends on which animal you love the most. The one you adopt as a pet. Some people have pigeons, or rabbits as pets, and they would never eat them. But us do eat them. Hindu don't eat cows, but we do. It's the same. I would never eat a cat either anyway, just so you know it. :-)

@MrXLacostex he didn't say ALL should eat a cat. As I said, subtitles are a bit incorrect. He said that during the 2WW they USED to eat cats to survive. I just don't want to judge what they did, because I can't fully understand how hungry and poor they were. If he said that it's ok to eat cats and he use to do that now, I would insulte him too. I have a cat and I'd never eat him! Come on, don't be so fucking stupid and try to understand, we live in a much better place now than 60 years ago.
