Hi.
I was reading your answer to Geka007zp. but didnt understand alot. you dont happen to have skype/msn or what ever so I can ask you a bit question about how to bind/weld/connect or what ever you did to the wheels, so they go with the chassi.
I want the wheels to do exactly like urs. rotate, move up and down when they go over objects.
THanks

how did you make the treads soft?

@GeKa007ZP The threads are not animated in 3D Studio.
Tank wheels were animated using reactor, then I've lined bones to the wheels, created a spline shape along the threads' path and constrained the thread mesh to that spline. PathDeform - percentage is a wire parameter to the first of the tank wheel's rotation rate.
More less. XD

@GeKa007ZP Okay. Let me put it this way.
You can create a spline in 3D Studio, then make any mesh follow this spline's path using a modifier PathDeform.
You can easily edit the spline's shape with bones, if you rig it to any bones you want.
So, a spline is rigged to bones which are linked to the reactor animated tank wheels. Then, the thread mesh is linked to the spline with PathDeform.
