Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants (EPK)

Big Brother Recordings Limited celebrate their 10th anniversary on 7th February 2010 having sold over 6 million albums by Oasis in the UK alone in the last decade. The label was formed after the demise of Creation Records and has released every Oasis record since then.

From Sunday 7th February (10 years to the day that 'Go Let It Out', the very first release on Big Brother Recordings, was released) Oasisinet and Oasis' YouTube page will be hosting footage from the era including a rarely seen TV ad with voice over by Ricky Tomlinson of TV's Royle Family fame.

Here, the band from 2000 talk about the making of their 4th studio album, 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants".

Andy looks gorgeous, as does Noel of course. What a great band, I love this album and it's my 2nd favourite Oasis album after Definitely Maybe. I don't see all of the shite that everyone else sees about it, it's a masterpiece in its own just like every other Oasis album.

it is.. there's like two weak songs or three.. and the rest is quality! the weak songs: I can see a liar(quite a daft try to do a sex pistolesque tune but quite boring), put yer money where yer mouth is (really lazy song but sort of listenable cos of the decent production).. the rest is really quite fukcing class.. go let it out, fuckin' in the bushes, gas panic, roll it over, where did it all go wrong?, who feels love?.. even who feels love is good really!

only now can i properly appricitate (great spelling, right?) Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants. all of the songs are great (ok, apart from I Can See A Liar & Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is).

but Roll It Over, what a fucking tune! amazing! can't stop listening to it. although, WHY Let's All Make Believe wasn't on the album, i'll never understand that choice Noel.
