Carolina Shag - Duck Walk - Myrtle Beach SC Dance

The famous Carolina Shag "Duck Walk," demonstrated by Jeppy McDowell in a private lesson at Fat Harold's in Myrtle Beach SC. I had two lessons with Jeppy on the Duck Walk. I have seen some old-time shaggers social dancing in the Beach clubs base their entire style on the Duck Walk - very groovy. When you play with the rhythms of the music, the duck walk takes on complex and many-colored morphings! To the best of my knowledge, the Shag "Duck Walk" has not made its way into other dance styles, let alone other swing dance styles. So, Dance World - take note!
