meet yoki: smart pekingese doggy

I've read somewhere that pekingese are the 7th dumbest dog breed out there. I like to think otherwise.

Meet Yoki, my aunt's purebred pekingese dog who's super smart. She literally has around 30+ toys--Mr.Moo, lion, tootsie roll, lollipop etcetc-- that she can recognize and retrieve upon command. And she's also "bilingual," able to understand commands in both english and chinese (teo chew) =)

The problem with this is the video, of which latter the sound was added to match the results making the dog look smart. Nice trick but we saw what you really did.

@KaiserWilhelmIV Why the hell would I go through all the trouble ... it's just my aunt's dog and I was only trying to show what she can do. I know there's a lot of that fake shit going on in youtube but I can assure you that this is 100% genuine. If you still don't believe me, then don't watch my videos.

@finnister It's easy. You film the dog doing whatever it does, then add the sound of you saying the objects in sequence while watching the video so it is cued up. Takes like 3 minutes to do.

Do you really have nothing better than to do other than to sit around your computer and go about criticizing and undermining the credibility of youtube videos? Though, I’m not really surprised that there are skeptics (such as yourself) since there are a lot of manipulated videos and such floating around cyberspace.

I own a pekingese and she is extremely smart she knows and understands many comands in english! She knows the difference when you say right and left and many other things! She is stubborn sometimes but she is very smart! i love pekingese i will definately be having more in the future

my dog is half pekingese (not pure breed) however he is really clever. he understands many things and he even learned to jump the fence just to come and find me!:s

i have a pekingese but i can't really say if he's smart or not. he refuses to learn the commands we want him to learn but he can get real creative when it comes to stealing food. he has everyone fooled with that cute face

I have 2 Peke's. One is 14 and blind and one is 3. They are both rescues and 2 of the SMARTEST dogs I have ever known in my life.

My girlfriend's dog isn't bilingual but he knows teo chew also! He is 11-12 years though..

This is amazing! i have a peke and she wont even come shes so stubborn.. but yoki the is so smart and obedient love it!!!
