    Also, singing loudly and singing fuller/richer/chestier aren't exactly the same thing. As you have seen from SS, you can sing a heady note rather loudly, and a chesty note somewhat softly.

    Remember, as Chris is trying to remind you, the voice needs to built. Never forget the building blocks, and make sure you to build them in order. Any block you skip creates a gap in your voice, and will make any further progress seem to fall apart. The next step requires the first.

    Chris did a great job here. Great tip, and thank you for sharing!! I just have a need to clarify more indepth for those earlier in the journey.

    Singing softly and singing loudly use DIFFERENT vocal and muscular coordinations. Just because you can sing softly DOES NOT mean you can sing loudly. However, if you CAN sing loudly, then this does apply to you. The more control you have over a quieter note, the more POTENTIAL you have to sing louder.
