This is my favorite Mighty Mouse musical cartoon.
Krakakoa Katie looks just like Dorothy Lamour who she was obviously based on.
Love the songs in this one.

Thanx so much for posting this! The Mighty Mouse cartoons came on Saturday mornings when I was growing up. For some reason, I've always remembered the 'Krakatoa Katie' song. I remember thinking that this seemed a little racy for a cartoon back then; seems pretty tame now. Wonder if this was an actual song or something they created just for this cartoon. Didnt know that USA channel showed cartoons. Mighty Mouse at Mt Wilson Observatory? Just for this cartoon I guess. Glad I could see this again!

Mine too!! My parents watched these at the movies when they were kids in the 40's...I watched them on TV as a child in the 60's....It took me a while to fiqure why so many people my age like music from the 40's...Its in most of the cartoons we grew up watching!! Yes Katie looks like Dorothy and Heddi!!
