@Fosterchild56 LOL nowadays, you can get the first 5 episodes on dvd for under 10 bucks.

My first turlte tape was Case of the Killer Pizzas, then Heroes in a Half Shell, Hot Rodding Teenagers, The Shredder is Splintered and lastly The incredible shrinking turltes. I still have all the VHS tapes along with the 3 movies.

@Fosterchild56 There were two episodes in a tape, except for The Incredible shrinking turtles that one had four or five. Now you can have a whole volume for around the same price.

I remember being a kid and being confused by the name of the vid "The Shredder is Splintered" versus the name of the actual episode "Shredder and Splintered". Anybody? (Crickets)

@happydragonpics The Shredder is Splintered, I guess makes more sense. But in the episode, aa machine transfers the minds of Shredder and Splinter. So they swap personalitys.

@John231984 WTF are you talking about? Shredded and Splintered was the end of the first season and was about Splinter confronting Shredder over the retro mutagen gun, the episode you're thinking of is "The Old Switcheroo"

They messed up colors and voices all the time. It's actually quite funny to see on the dvd's.
