I wish I could detangle my hair with just oil. I definitely need some water & some conditioner.

how often do you do a protein treatments vs. deep conditioning? and do you find it helpful to do them on the same day?
-
I love olive oil. It's my mainstay.
-
Do you think it's better to warm the oil up itself, or put it in a container and stick it in boiling water instead?

Thanks for this info. Very informative!

I just started watching your videos and they are great. I want to go natural but I want to do it wearing braids for a while so I was wondering would that be a good way? And what would be a good way to take care of those braids like do I wash my scalp ect?
Thank you for the vid! It was really helpful!

Something people tend to forget that you didn't say is that oil doesn't moisturize your hair neither do butters like shea, mango, & cocoa butters. They only nourish it which is great but it is very important to keep hair thoroughly moisturized. Moisturizing implies adding come form of water to your hair be it conditioner, aloe vera juice, a leave-in etc. Hot oil treatments cannot substitute the needed moisture from deep conditioning(if that's what your hair needs). Great vid by the way :-)
