Even if he did have the best car, he fought and won the title, at least he utilised his car, even if it was the best. Heinz harald frentzen wasted himself that season in the other williams

It's funning reading peoples comments on here, i mean comparing Villenueve to Hill is not like chalk and cheese but not very valid .

Hill's was reliably in the top 3 drivers standings from 93 - 96 in a ever reliable Williams car, drove by a amazing driver and should of had a second title if it wasn't for Schumachers arrogance.

Villenueve after 97 was on a downward slide, as was Hill's, but couldn't make the most out of the cars he was given with and looked silly when Kubica replaced him.

JV drove with character and attitude, he also seemed to have a lot to prove to himself and the world. It made racing exciting, especially since it did have talent. There were a good handful of Talented drivers during that era but when you look at F1 today you don't see those characters or expressions. You just see the teams, the drivers are a dime a dozen.

You can't deny that Frentzen was a very irregular and inconsistent driver. He was average, the results speak for themselves. He ranks below a very large field of drivers, like Coulthard, Alesi, just to name a few. I'm not saying that he was a bad driver, but he was not the find everybody was speculating about when he was in the MB junior team.
