The narration for this show is SOO cheesy! We took it out, because otherwise we'd be rolling around on the field with laughter.
The front ensemble (pit) part is so bad-a, especially during the third movement. I'm singing the part I play and going through it in my mind as I'm listening to this.
It makes me sad though, because our pit isn't as large as that. We only have 7 members: xylo/glock, vibe, marimba, a 2nd glock, timpani, and two auxilary. It doesn't quite have the same effect. Lol.

For 2A, Pendleton is on the larger size. I don't think we are quite as big as Strom Thurmond, who has somewhere around a hundred. We had a 54-member hornline, this year. Our numbers increase and decrease a little throughout the years, but no drastic size changes in the recent past.
