he didn't say "give them the lead." He did say he wanted them to come back from at LEAST 8 points, to see how they react, if I said it in a different manner, that would be my bad.

I highly doubt he said that. After the game he said he was glad they were down so he could see how they would react, but I really don't think he said "give them the lead." You can't "let" a guy go 6-6 from 3 in the first half.
