Is the foliage your own, from your in-house design team? I am very interested to learn more about how this environment was developed. Is there any chance of documenting some of your process and sharing it with the community?

@tedflb You could make 3D mountains by putting a bigger (but lower res) terrain under your normal terrain. Same goes for all far detail.
