  • thx 4 the vids m8s! Started skating again after 21 years of being off the ice :) u guys really inspired me :) cheers :)

  • @Barnes466 Thank you so much for your support, You should join our online community (forum page) links in the video description, hope to speak to you there :)

  • thank you, chris. please tell me, when skating backwards, especially in crossovers, the weight should be on the ball of the foot?

  • @alegzander1971 During the backwards crossover, you want to push off your knees, not the toe or hell of your skate, the weight should be directed towards the centre of your skates (which is why you want your knees bent while crossing over) you should use our forum page for questions, you’ll answers from a lot more hockey players and skating, the link is in the video description

  • very nice vids. please tell me, when you do the tight turn backwards, the weight is on the front foot (which is on the outside edge) or on the back foot?

  • @alegzander1971 Try and have the weight as even throughout your skates, but it’s sometimes hard to stop yourself from placing most of the weight in your front skates (turning to the right going backwards, so your right leg/skate will be in front on its outside edge left leg inside edge) depending on how sharp your turning, and where your leaning when you do so

I'm doin everything very good, except for the both feet hockey stop :(

Actually, my inside foot ( 1:19 right foot) gets stuck in the ice and i get a kida crash xD I have a pair of real ice hockey skates, and i've sharpened them 3 days ago (when i bought them) It's because I sharpened them ? Thanks :D

PS: i can do a hockey stop with one foot, have no rproblem with that
