GREAT video!!!!!!! takes me back to my Elvin Bishop Live Raisin' Hell album, sure played that one a LOT to get in the mood, say yea yea ..............

I did some research on the singers on this song and Mickey Thomas & Reni Slais were the two belting out the vocals on this great tune. Bill Slais also in band played horns & organ per album credits. I found this other video verify Reni as the singer ( she's got great vocal pipes )!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mickey Thomas...so underated. One of the great white soul singers of all time.

Bonnie Bramlett...My favorite white lady soul singer of all time. Got a lot of her style from the many performances with Tina. Listen to any of the Delaney & Bonnie recordings...absolutly amazing!

  • Was she the Bonnie, of Delaney and Bonnie? If so, that's some trivia I did not know.

  • good song... that's one big mouth though

  • Pretty sure thats Donny Baldwin on drums. Also on the Raisin H album. Saw him in 2009 with Cold Blood at the West Sacramento River Walk. Good show!

  • That's Rene Slais on vocals with Mickey and Don....great stuff!!

  • Great song. Whoever she is, really belted it out! Elvin be cool! The horn section goes so great in this sound. Mickey's voice goes ok here too, before the Starship cleaned out Elvin's band. Reminds me of Elvin's voice when he was younger.

  • ...another precious, Radical man...dear, dear Elvin...

    always love, sweet soul...

and Mickey & everyone on stage...

they gave us 'prayers' the simply ROCKED OUR SPIRITS...to the core!!!

    ...big ole warm hugs...love, Dancin

  • Elvin Bishop's "Raisin Hell", is a must own if you are into this type of southern blues/funk. The album is one of the best live rock recordings ever, capturing Bishop in his absolute commercial prime.

  • @AntnyMichlHallnOats

I'm sorry to tell you but the lady singing with Mickey and Elvin is not Bonnie Bramlett.

  • Cool. That's the Elvin Bishop I remember...

  • Mickey Thomson is awsome!
