Nice. Looks like the thermite acted exactly as it should have. Burned a hole straight thru to the ground. All these idiots expecting it to blow the tower. No. Thermite, when ignited, is a concentrated substance, somewhat like lava, and destroys whatever is in its path

Yeah - agreed. We only had a small amount (about half a cupful) so we were impressed with that, but definitely poor camera action - best we could do at short notice. WATCH THIS SPACE - I just ordered 3Kg of Thermite and a Tripod!!!
