"Scenes Around the Centrum"

This all new production features digital photos and a video clip recorded with my Traveler Slimline X5 digital camera.

This video takes a look at the Centrum of Almere-stad. This is the business area right outside the train station. You'll notice the ultra-modern design of the station itself as well as other buildings in the area. Almere is a new city, being established less than 30 years ago after the land was reclaimed from the sea, the way the Dutch do.

Some of the sights you'll see include the original Dutch fast-food restaurant named Febo and some other shops in the Centrum. If you look closely and quickly you will also spot Aldi.

These scenes also show typical activities from shoppers, travelers and others as they enjoy the afternoon sun.

This video was edited with Vegas 7. The credits were created with Windows Movie Maker.

Thank you for you comments and for your suggestions and most for taking time to view my work. I don't know why Almere would be considered so ugly... is it because it's modern? I think Almere Haven is very nice, well planned and quiet for living.

Where you've been is nice, the 'provincie' Flevoland. some other cities like Lelystad , Emmeloord and Zeewolde are nice too, outside flevoland .. never.. NEVER go to Friesland ;)

Why Almere? Because I have friends there. Yes, of course I hsve other videos. Mostly from Amsterdam in the Netherlands but I am always looking for new material for videos. Perhaps on my next visit I will go to Haarlem or some other small fairytale place. I hope you'll enjoy my other videos.
