I know, it was more of what was the basis for the reversals. It was almost if they changed it without a story or reason to go along with it.

Gagne didn't want Hogan to have the title so he kept on reversing the decisions. If Gagne left his ego at the door, the WWF explosion of the 80's would not have happened.
