My religiosity allowed me to justify alienating myself from my friends. My intentions were well, but my attitude was rude and disrespectful. God knocked me around when Darrell was killed and showed me how stupid I had been to separate myself from people that loved me and cared about me. To all my Metal Friends I am sorry, please forgive me. To all my Christian friends, be careful or your friends may write songs about you that you that will eventually wake you up too. God simply gives us the honor to love others.
My plan is to be committed to loving and honor the memories of Dimebag Darrell Abbott as he was one the best people I have ever known. Every person that has actually known Darrell will quickly tell you his heart was bigger than Texas. Lovers of music the world around have been touched by that. Darrell Abbott was one of my best friends and I hope to honor that in this video.
