Both history lesson and vlog, or perhaps something along the lines of "what I did this weekend", was a 10 mile hike up to a remnant of an aborted road project of the Works Progress Administration of Franklin Roosevelt back in 1936. For something that is 74 years old, its in remarkably good condition considering that its in the middle of nowhere.

  • @pestr999 $80 (the cost to jump) is a lot of money to spend on a minute of adrenalin producing insanity. Floods were the reason the project was canceled.

  • Awww and here I thought you'd take the plunge. :) I think Patty would have to be the most daring of all of us. This reminds me of a few road projects in MA where they attempted to make a highway or a railway and were stopped by private land owners who refused to sell.
