RARE CLIP OF ERNIE GHOULARDI ANDERSON DOING VOICE OVER'S ON THE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW......1983....GO TO MY OTHER VIDEOS TO SEE ERNIE ANDERSON AS CLEVELANDS 1960'S SHOCK THEATURE HOST GHOULARDI......ALSO RECREATED GHOULARDI SHOW DVD OFFER...THANKS
Nobody could blow and burn things up on TV better then you Mr. Ernie Anderson AKA Thee GHOULARDI ! PS Ernie, Dorothy Fuldheim really does love you, hehehe ... NOT !
Even as kids in the early 60's, we recognized that Ernie Anderson had something special--and slightly off kilter--as he hosted lousy, late-night horror films in a weird characterization known as Ghoulardi--a bit he invented that both thrilled the young and scandalized the staid public of Cleveland, Ohio.
People such as Elvira, mistress of the night, owe a great deal to him.
In their time, there were two voices who were totally identified with their networks: Ernie Anderson and ABC, and Danny Dark at NBC. Both gone, but not forgotten.
Thanks for the wonderful post! Be sure to search youtube for Ernie Anderson at ABC. You can see him actually recording a session for the network in '89. Thanks again!
They should have given him his own mic on the desk., instead of trying to use one floating. Huge difference ...

I actually got a bit weepy seeing this. Talk about hearing a voice from the past!
