This is the largest pit of terracotta warriors discovered to date. The figures were originally found (in 1974) broken in fragments; many have been carefully restored. The restored figures can be seen standing in the front of each column, while in the back one can see the broken figures. There are figures of different warriors, officers, generals, horses, etc. Restoration work is still going on.
(The man shown in the video is Clarence Guo, who runs a guide/taxi service in Xi'an, and speaks good English.)
