How can people complain about this. Just the nervous facial twitches that Willy gives at the beginning are brilliant, and the hurt look on Biff's face is good too.

There is NO energy in any of it.

i actually thought this scene was not done too badly. most of the comments on the clip seem to be negative. granted, i haven't seen this whole version of the play but i found this excerpt to be very moving. it was only a couple of times that the american accent slipped slightly but i wouldn't have even noticed if i didn't know that they were british actors beforehand.

Dustin Hoffman and John Malkovich are the only actors to ever do this scene justice. These guys are just ruining it.

i remember watching this. Its a good version of the play. Cheers.

horrible.

I think Toby McGuire (SPIDERMAN films, BROTHERS) would make an excellent portrayal of Biff! McGuire seems very young and kid-like. He has a distinct way of using character through emotion and anger.

I think Alec Baldwin would make a great portrayal of Willy Loman and Toby McGuire (SPIDERMAN) would make a great portrayal of Biff Loman.
This isn't too bad, but having seen Dustin Hoffman and John Malkovich's version of the scene makes it look like a joke. The 1985 adaptation is the best by far.

The more I watch this, the less emotion I see in it.
