Pepi, Tom's version is really confusing; almost sounds like li-ggety-spliggly. The Eagle's version is good too, and in that song you can tell that what he says is "lickety-splittly", meaning "pretty damn fast." Keep the videos up! Peace bro.

I have lived in San Diego all my lfie and there is a pizza joint in National City where Tom worked as a cook. So I stop in for a meatball sandwich and ask the waitress if she knew who Tom Waits was and she says no... and the older waitress told her and right then .. honest injun.. the jukebox kicked in all by itself and played old55 and there were only two waits songs on the machine. spooky Huh? his ghostflippizzatoo?
