You hit the nail on the head; they are far from deferential to Mr Timothy; it the interwiew had taken place in Sweden it would be easier to catch the resaon. Silly me, I believed that Americans were better at appreciating skills and experience.
It was anyway good to see Mr Dalton speaking when not being a character in a movie. Thanks.

I absolutly agree with, and I don't understand why the public did deceive him (anyway in Sweden where I live.

Thank you for posting this! It is amazing that the other three judges do not defer to Timothy Dalton...the most talented and experienced actor amongst them 1000 times over. If I were an acting student, I would want to listen and learn from him only for that precious 8 min and 28 seconds!

nice! I wanted to see an interview with Dalton talking outside of being an actor. The only thing is that the video keeps on stopping inbetween.

If Timothy Dalton directed now I feel he'd achieve the best of himself that he can give to films. He is an incredibly gifted, "natural" actor whose abilities span more than 40 years from stage, screen and TV. As he said, you shoot for the moon. In my case, I've shot for the moon in the NEXT universe" in order to HIT ONE! That is all it takes. My first viable screenplay, ROBERT BURNS needs a director and I'd be honoured if that person were Timothy Dalton.~ Janet T. Deaver
