**Watch in HD!**

I brought this snake home today as a rescue. He came from a family who rarely fed him. He weighs 86 grams, is 2 years old and approximately 30 inches long. His family surrendered him along with a ball python and the family dog. Their home is getting foreclosed on and they had to move to an apartment so they gave up their pets. A very sad situation. Now he gets to live with me. After weighing him I put him in a new enclosure with fresh eco earth, hides, water and a few plants. He had fun exploring his new home then settled down to take a nap.

I'll do an update after he gets settled in and I find him a good name.

  • Hey susan its jack ur so sweet, god u really luv ur snakes:)

  • @snakelover123100 Yes Jack I love them all. Your posting reminded me I have not done an update on Devereaux in quite some time. I'll have to make an update video of him now that he's been with me for about a year and a half. He looks quite different than he does in this video. :))

  • Is that a pic of you as your avatar?

  • @ThaBongKing Nope!

  • hi.... i was just wondering how do u know if the corn snake is over or under fed??? thanks

  • By looking mostly - but in this case it is VERY obvious. He is 2 years old and weighs only 86 grams. His body is about the same width around as a hatchling. For his age he should weigh closer to 200 grams or better.

  • I probably could have guessed by your voice but i had it muted last time lol. I'm getting a corn next month. Gonna be my first snake ever, second reptile ever. Any color morphs recommended? I'm looking for something bright and colorful.

  • How about an update on this fellow?
