What you would've watched on ABC, CBS and NBC prime-time in December 1976. Once an Eagle began its limited-series run on Best Sellers at the start of the month, while What's Happening!! and The Tony Randall Show moved to new time periods and Van Dyke and Company finished its run towards the end of it.
With all due respect to Dick Van Dyke, NBC pretty much threw in the towell back then didn't they?

That Streets of San Francisco had just about everybody in it, including Dr. No. Thankks for taking the time to put together these videos for us nostalgia-crazed "old timers."

By 1976 ABC had ascended to the top of the TV ratings, followed by CBS, with NBC in freefall. Considering what the competition had to offer, NBC's Thursday night lineup at the time was "Must-Avoid TV." I clearly remember watching the shows on ABC on those nights.
A memorable character on "The Tony Randall Show" was Bullethead, the boyfriend of the teenage daughter of Judge Franklin (Randall). The nickname was due to his shaven head, unusual at the time but much more common now.

@MrJacMac1986 Reality shows are the detriment of our society. In the 70's,80's,and 90's,our definition of reality television was the news.

This must have been on a typical Sunday evening.Bear in mind that not many average working folks could afford VCRS in that era,so you were s@#$ out of luck if you liked programs on all 3 networks during the same evening if you weren't one of the fortunate few to own one.
