Often confused as an anthem for fighting because of the driving tune. It actually looks at the various points of view of the soldier, and the ones making him go. "...this time will be forever..." is more cynical than a battle cry. No doubt one of the best songs of all time!

I was lucky to see them live in '88. Awesome. I've never seen a band be in so much in touch with the audience. They made us feel like we were part of the band and they were part of us. Probably the best gig I've been too.
