The Meeting & Alternative - Cert lll Screen & Media Class Assignment 2010

Central Institute Of Technology, Perth: Screen & Media [Film & Television]

I do not declare this to be a short film, as it clearly isn't. This started as several different in class assignments for Camera, Sound, Lighting & Editing class.

The bulk of this footage was captured within an hour of the very first time I had every used any of the film equipment. So please forgive me for the bad work.

Is it difficult to gain entry to this c3 course? I'm from Europe and I'm planning to move to Perth for it :) I want to start the certificate 3 course in february 2012 and i don't really know what they expect - how good you have to be with the use of the equipment, which equiptment they expect you to use, etc. -

please answer me asap! :)

@starlessprincess good luck with your application. I wish you all the best. Dont stress too much. the application process isnt that hard and i am not too sure what they need you to submit during thid round of applicant. The course is good and they teach you how to use all the equipment before you go out and start to produce your own films.

thanks :) did you have to submit a folio (with a short film, etc.) to gain entry into the certificate 3 course? or did you just sign up for it?

Ive heard to enter the certificate 3 course of screen & media you need to submit a folio, which contains a short film. Can you upload your short film or send it to me? And tell me how much time it took to shoot it and with how many people you worked on it?
