  • it is true the golden voice calleja

  • I saw them today from the MET ....Joseph Calleja was the best vocally. Great baritone and Bass. Dessay did a great Job, but in the mad scene it was a shame that she didnt sung with the flute, the result was that the audience just get applauses in the end of the act, not after the first part of the mad scene.....and in the a capella section .....in the end she was not perfectlly on tune....

But I had a nice time whatching this Lucia!!!

Joseph Calleja is like having a Modern Gigli!!!

  • Calleja is the finest lyric tenor today, no contest, but he deserves much better support than someone like Dessay who is decidedly second rate and the conducting in this excerpt is very weak.

  • I love the set

  • Squisito ! Grazie Mille!

  • Saw it on live broadcast !!! chilling !!! thrilling !!! loooove it !

  • I saw the HD live broadcast of this opera at my local theater here in Kentucky

on Saturday 3/19/11 and loved it.

  • Joseph Calleja is starting to sound like Caruso or something!

Personally, I find Piotr Beczala's voice more smooth and creamy like, and I prefer it more in this role. I can't wait to Piotr Beczala broadcasted again soon hopefully! Pleasepleaspeleaspeleapselplease let Piotr Beczala be in a broadcast soon AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! :D :D :D
