NEW YORK -- April 18, 2009. The panel was called "New Frontiers: Left Psychology Explores U.S. Personal Life". Roger Salerno examined consumerism, Harriet Fraad looked at the divorce rate and how economic stressors affect family life, Richard Lichtman showed how traditional therapy puts the individual in a family context but fails to put the family in a societal context and Lauren Langman discussed how abused children tend to emulate the oppressor -- using Israeli foreign policy as an example.
