@Blu923the2nd You gotta be right. There's a photo of a black man sweeping the ground on Main Street USA with Walt looking down at him with a facial expression looking like he was changing his mind about letting black people work for him in the park.

@barmtrail Why the hell would they want that? They want to keep people in the resort and park. However, (although the parks can be really crowded), ticket prices control crowd levels. Also, are you surprised that Disneyland is crowded? It is the most recognized theme park in the world.

@moviesperson100001 Walt Disney was a man of his times. It was more common to have those beliefs than you think.
@darrylhaynes He was a man of his times. He most likely change his views. I mean, look at it's a small world. On opening day of that attraction, he invited tons of kids from different cultures to bring a jar of water and pour it into the waterway of the ride. I'm guessing his change of views also led to the creation of Disneyland c:

@barmtrail The Skyway closed because of that and many other problems. Also, the subs are still up. They just have a Finding Nemo theme. Also, you ARE underwater when you are in the ride, just not too far down.
Times have changed, money has changed it's value. Not to mention those ticket prices are really high to control crowds.... Unlike Knott's. An unclean park with cheap tickets.

@sgtpepper1138 Ofcourse they did, but you have to remember that the average speed on the freeway was 50 to 55. Today its 80 to 90! And they are not getting there any faster? But opec loves us here in So. Cal....
