Thanks.  He's been playing regularly since age five and while he does practice daily (usually), it doesn't consume his life. He's more into games and athletics than piano, with baseball being his favorite pasttime. We'll see how far music goes, but as parents we are proud and hope to keep music balanced in his life as long as he wants to do it!

All say only slow down - no!!! Why Entertainer can't be played (although I know that it is a Ragtime) as a fast rolling Boogie with an octave rolling bass like Pittsburgh Flyer, Caldonia or Choo Choo the Boogie. It would be sound so fucking good!!!

Yeah, he does play that song too fast and he knows it. Hard to keep a kid interested in piano if he can't have some fun with it.
