  • Sorry Man, I Love Your Videos But You Complain Too God Damn Much In This One. Be Happy With What You Got Dude. International's Are Pretty Good Trucks. You Could Have Gotten Worse.

  • @pop19481

I do complain a lot in this video, for sure. I really did not like this thing. Compared to the other trucks this company had... this is the worst I could have gotten. Every thing else in the fleet were newer Volvo's.. Well they did have a couple of old Freightliner Columbia's too.

  • I drive a 8 wheeler Internation 9000, You tractor unit has a higher level of refinement.

The engine brakes do hold ok if your prepared to rev it up to near 1800rpm on down shift.

All so the fan over ride will give you added drag normally enough to drop the rpm if its not Holding.

The ride is agricultural especially on NZ highways, equivalent to your b roads.

But loads of open road grunt that loud clunky ISX that seems to be bullet proof.

  • @TheMotoboot

Thanks for the comment. Yours was one of few that actually had intelligent conversation in it. Some guys just call me a PUSSY for not liking the International as much as my regular Volvo VN670. But Your right the ISX seems to be good, and pulls well. In my Volvo which was an 05... It had about 4 EGR valves put in 2 years... But that was first year for the 05 emissions. Good to talk to you,.. be safe out there.

  • hey man i don't want ann probloms ok i like trucking video ken i like your video ok don't block me hah lol

  • @KENWORTH8470

  • I havent seen a broken down international half way up a hill yet... touch wood.

  • its a 2,4,6 engine break

  • he also had freightliner century class and kenworth t2000

  • my dad had a few of those when he founded his company. ever heard of silver star trucking? he sold it in 2005

  • @KENWORTH8470

Thank you... Your right. Most of us drive what the company hands us. It's a freaking truck, it hauls freight. I liked the Volvo better.. but that's just my opinion. I now drive an International ProStar, Again.. I drive what they hand me.
