You know the concept of the Tulku is BS.. It is a way to maintain power within the Tibetan ruling class.. I mean really.. The greatest master of the Nyingma lineage is Chatral Rinpoche, yet he is not recognized as a tulku.. He doesn't have the family connections for such a judgement.

here's a conceptual quandry for you

"if we have lived infinite lives, how is it possible for us to have different karma?"

Yes, who cares about tulku sistem? Buddhism is much more important!

Tulku is a small part of Buddhism.

In my Tradition we were asked not to look into Tulku's anymore,because this does become an obsessive task instead of Dharma Practice.

@crazedmystic becuase we have different minds. the cause of my birth cant be the cause of yours. just becuase we have had beginningless lives doesn't somehow mean our karma should ripen at exactly the same time. cause and effect is extremely difficult to understand

Garchen Rinpoche is incredible! He thinks he's an average person, but anybody who looks at him feels, WOW, there's something amazing about this person. Hahahaha, Garchen Rinpoche is best teacher, his students are the best students~
