Berlin Germany - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met in Berlin to discuss the Pan-European security agreement and the fate of the euro. Germany and Russia-EU committee agree the European security and the fate of the euro is in Russia hands.

Angela Merkel focused on more integration of Russian Federation inside the European Union and prevent a possible collapse of the euro. A difficult task for Merkel because most of Russian citizens use the ruble and not the euro and Russian Federation is focused on increase its influence as a global super power and not be a full member inside the European Union.

Other issues as Iran's nuclear program and Russian influence in the Middle East were discuss.
