prachtig beest, maar hoe zie je dat deze oud is? hij heeft een mooi (groot) gewei, kan je het behalve zijn gewei nog ergens anders aan zien?

Hi, aan het gewei kun je niet zien hoe oud een hert is, alleen aan de kiezen. Een beetje aan de lichaamsbouw kun je een schatting maken.

seen many red deer stags on the drive up from glasgow to the north west highlands in scotland, quite scary seeing them when its pitch black at night and your driving a small vauxhall corsa haha

Red deer look a lot like what we call Elk in America and Canada, and what some countries often call elk are Moose around here and in Canada.
